Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
Minimally invasive spine surgery (MIS) has been developed to effectively treat disorders of the spine with minimal scarring, decreased pain, less blood loss, and shorter patient recovery time. Much of the surgery is done using a microscope and sometimes special surgical instruments and implants. Ask Dr. Prasarn which types of spine surgery may be treated with MIS surgery and how it compares to more traditional open techniques.
